About Acnesol CL Lotion

Acnesol CL Lotion belongs to a group of medicines known as macrolide antibiotics, used to treat acne vulgaris. Acne vulgaris is a common skin condition which develops when hair follicles become clogged with dead skin cells and oil.

Acnesol CL Lotion contains Clarithromycin, which inhibits the synthesis of essential nutrients required for bacterial survival. As a result, Acnesol CL Lotion kills the acne-causing bacteria.

Some people may experience side effects like burning sensation, peeling, itching, redness and dry skin. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult a doctor.
