Medicinal Benefits:
TFCT-Nib Ointment is used to treat alopecia areata (hair loss) and atopic dermatitis.
TFCT-Nib Ointment contains Tofacitinib, a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor, which affects hematopoiesis and immune cell activity by transmitting signals resulting from cytokine or growth factor-receptor interactions on the cellular membrane.
The duration of the medicine will depend on the indication/ use for which it is prescribed. However, it is advised to complete the treatment course your doctor prescribes for better recovery.
TFCT-Nib Ointment is for topical use only and not other parts. Do not put a bandage or dressing on the affected area while treating with TFCT-Nib Ointment. If the medicine gets into your eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with cold water. Do not blow-dry your scalp after using TFCT-Nib Ointment. Do not apply the topical form of TFCT-Nib Ointment on shaved, inflamed, infected, irritated or painful scalp skin.
TFCT-Nib Ointment may cause certain side effects such as excessive hair growth, headache, skin irritation, itching, rashes, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. If you experience any other symptoms that may be due to TFCT-Nib Ointment, please consult your doctor or pharmacist for further advice.
