Gespar 3750IU Injection 1's is used to treat acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL). It is also used with other chemotherapy drugs to treat a certain type of ALL in people who have had allergic reactions to medications similar to pegaspargase, such as asparaginase. Gespar 3750IU Injection 1's contains Pegaspargase, an enzyme that breaks down asparagine, an important building block of proteins without which cells cannot survive. Normal cells can make asparagine for themselves, while some cancer cells cannot. Gespar 3750IU Injection 1's lowers asparagine levels in blood cancer cells and stops the cancer cells from growing.
