Uses:
Genusartan MT 40mg/25mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure). The detailed uses of Genusartan MT 40mg/25mg Tablet are as follows:<br/>• Treatment of Hypertension: Genusartan MT 40mg/25mg Tablet helps to manage high blood pressure by dilating blood vessels and slowing heart rate, which in turn lowers blood pressure. <br/>• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Genusartan MT 40mg/25mg Tablet reduces the risk of cardiovascular complications such as heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage by controlling blood pressure and decreasing the workload on the heart. <br/>
Medicinal Benefits:
Genusartan MT 40mg/25mg Tablet is a combination of two blood pressure-lowering medicines: Telmisartan and Metoprolol succinate. Telmisartan belongs to the class of drugs called Angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by blocking the angiotensin II receptor, thereby relaxing the blood vessels and lowering the blood pressure. Metoprolol succinate belongs to the class of drugs known as beta-blockers. It helps to reduce blood pressure by allowing the blood to flow more smoothly. Together, Genusartan MT 40mg/25mg Tablet helps in lowering blood pressure to normal.
Genusartan MT 40mg/25mg Tablet belongs to the class antihypertensive agents used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It may also be used to lower the risk of heart attack and stroke in future.
Genusartan MT 40mg/25mg Tablet contains Telmisartan and Metoprolol Succinate. Telmisartan works by blocking the angiotensin II receptors.
