Erakof LS Syrup consists of three medicines: Ambroxol, Guaifenesin and Salbutamol. Ambroxol is an 'expectorant' and a 'mucolytic agent'; it promotes the secretion of sputum/cough and is a 'mucolytic agent' that makes sputum less viscous to make breathing easier. Being an expectorant, Guaifenesin reduces the thickness or viscosity of bronchial secretions (phlegm) and increases mucus flow, making it easier to cough.
