Edema Forte Tablet contains Rutoside, Trypsin-chymotrypsin and Bromelain. Trypsin-chymotrypsin and Bromelain are enzymes that have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. They reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation by increasing the blood supply to the affected area. Rutoside is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. It prevents further swelling and inflammation by neutralising the chemicals (free radicals) that cause cell damage. Thereby, Edema Forte Tablet helps relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

Edema Forte Tablet is a combination medication that belongs to a class of drugs called 'analgesic' used to relieve musculoskeletal pain in the conditions of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It may also provide relief from acute (short-term) pain such as toothache, ear pain, throat pain, muscle ache, and backache.

Edema Forte Tablet contains Rutoside, Trypsin-chymotrypsin and Bromelain. Trypsin-chymotrypsin and Bromelain reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation by increasing the blood supply to the affected area. Rutoside prevents further swelling and inflammation by neutralizing the chemicals (free radicals) that cause cell damage.Â

Edema Forte Tablet may be used to treat menstrual cramps. Edema Forte Tablet is a pain killer that produces substances in the body against pain and swelling.

You are not recommended to take Edema Forte Tablet with warfarin as co-administration of these two medicines may slow down blood clotting and increase the risk of bleeding more easily. However, please consult a doctor before using Edema Forte Tablet with other medicines.

You may have to stop taking Edema Forte Tablet minimum 2 weeks before surgery as Edema Forte Tablet may increase the risk of bleeding during and after surgery. However, if you are about to undergo any surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking Edema Forte Tablet.

Arthritis is a non-curable disease that can be managed. Edema Forte Tablet does not cure arthritis but can relieve symptoms of arthritis-like joint pain and swelling.

Consult the doctor before taking Edema Forte Tablet if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Avoid taking Edema Forte Tablet if you are allergic to pineapple, papain, fennel, carrot, fennel, and pollen. Tell your doctor if you are about to undergo any surgery; your doctor may advise you to stop taking Edema Forte Tablet a minimum of 2 weeks before surgery as it may increase the risk of bleeding. Consult the doctor if you have blood pressure problems, kidney or liver problems, clotting or bleeding problems, infection, haematuria (blood in urine) or hematemesis (vomiting blood) or if you are taking Edema Forte Tablet with painkiller, blood thinners, antibiotics and hypertension medications.

Edema Forte Tablet should be stored in a cool and dry place away from sunlight. Keep it out of sight and reach of children.

No, you should not take higher than the recommended dose of Edema Forte Tablet as it may cause side effects. Always follow the dose prescribed by the doctor based on your health condition.

The side effects of Edema Forte Tablet include diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, rash, or mouth sores. Consult the doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen.
