Doxgee LB Tablet contains Doxycycline and Lactobacillus. Doxgee LB Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, intestinal infections, respiratory infections, eye infections, gum infections, and sexually transmitted infections (like gonorrhoea, and syphilis). Doxycycline prevents the synthesis of essential proteins which are necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Thus, it kills the bacteria. Lactobacillus is a microorganism that helps restore the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may have gotten upset due to infections or antibiotic use. Together, Doxgee LB Tablet helps in treating bacterial infections.

Doxgee LB Tablet is unlikely to cause diarrhoea as it contains lactobacillus, a friendly bacteria. Thereby helps in preventing diarrhoea.

It is recommended to complete the course of Doxgee LB Tablet even if you feel better, as it is an antibiotic. Leaving it in between may lead to even severe infection that will, in fact, stop responding to the antibiotic as well (antibiotic resistance).

Avoid taking iron supplements, calcium supplements, multivitamins, laxatives or antacids along with Doxgee LB Tablet. Maintain a gap of two hours between Doxgee LB Tablet and other medicines. However, consult your doctor before taking Doxgee LB Tablet with other medicines.

Doxgee LB Tablet contains doxycycline, which might make you sunburn more easily. Wear protective clothing, sunglasses and sunscreen whilst going outside.

You should avoid drinking milk while taking Doxgee LB Tablet, as it can reduce the absorption of the medicine. However, contact a doctor if you have any concerns.

Store in a cool and dry place as advised on the label. Protect from light. Keep it out of reach from children.

You are recommended to wait at least 2 hours after taking Doxgee LB Tablet before eating, as consuming food may reduce its absorption. Therefore, take it as advised by your doctor.

Doxgee LB Tablet causes side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset and loss of appetite. Most of these side effects will reduce over time and do not require any medical attention. Contact a doctor if these side effects continues for longer.
