My left eye, which is my dominant eye, has a slight ptosis, although I have stronger control over it and my eyebrow than my right. I also don't have any eyesight issues. I also have a 6 out of 6 vision. However, my issue is that I want to pursue a career in modelling, and my drooping eyelid makes one eye appear smaller in close-up photos. When I'm exhausted or drowsy, this discrepancy gets bigger. Can it be fixed surgically, and if so, how much will it cost?

Yes, even if your vision is normal, slight eyelid drooping (ptosis) can frequently be surgically repaired, especially if it affects looks or confidence. Before undergoing surgery, an eye specialist should check you to rule out muscle or nerve-related causes because the drooping becomes more evident when you're sleepy. Oculoplastic or eye surgeons frequently perform ptosis correction procedures, which can enhance eyelid symmetry in photos and everyday appearance. The cost is typically discussed upon assessment and varies based on the hospital, city, surgeon, and severity. For appropriate assessment and treatment planning, please speak with an ophthalmologist or oculoplastic surgeon.
