I was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. My fasting blood sugar is 110 mg/dL, and post-meal blood sugar is 134 mg/dL. My C-peptide is 0.31, serum insulin level is 85.1, and islet cell antibodies are negative. I am taking Huminsulin N 14 units and Human Actrapid 12 units daily. My thyroid tests show T3 at 0.82, T4 at 4.10, and TSH at 9.31, and I take thyroid medicine on alternate days. Are my diabetes and thyroid levels under control?
