I have chickenpox with fever, headache, and body weakness. What treatments or medications may help relieve symptoms and support a faster recovery?

Chickenpox commonly causes fever, body pain, headache, weakness, itching, and fluid-filled skin rashes. Many people feel very tired during the first few days because the body is fighting a viral infection. Scratching the rashes repeatedly can irritate the skin further and increase the chance of marks or infection. Paracetamol may help reduce fever, headache, and body pain, while calamine lotion and soothing baths may help reduce itching and skin irritation. Adequate fluids, soft, nutritious food, fruits, rest, and proper sleep may support faster recovery and improve weakness gradually. Keeping the nails short and wearing loose cotton clothes may also help protect the skin from scratching. Avoid using aspirin during chickenpox because it can cause serious complications. Breathing difficulty, severe dehydration, confusion, continuous vomiting, pus-filled skin lesions, or high fever lasting longer than expected can suggest the infection is affecting the body more significantly and may need further medical care.
