My fasting sugar is 123, post-meal sugar is 192, and HbA1c is 7.9. I am taking Glimisave M4 Forte and Piloger 15 once in the morning and once at night, but my sugar levels are still not fully controlled. Do I need any change in treatment?

Your fasting and post-meal sugar levels are moderately high, and an HbA1c of 7.9 shows that your diabetes has not been fully controlled over the last few months. Glimisave-M4 Forte and Pioglitazone can help manage diabetes, but sometimes the body needs treatment adjustments as diabetes changes over time. Food habits, stress, poor sleep, less physical activity, and weight gain may also affect sugar control even while taking medicines regularly. A treatment change may or may not be needed, depending on your age, weight, kidney function, lifestyle, and how long you have had diabetes. Your doctor may review your HbA1c trend, daily sugar readings, and meal pattern before deciding whether to adjust the dose or add another medicine. Regular walking after meals, reducing sweets and refined carbohydrates, eating smaller, balanced meals, and maintaining proper sleep can support better control naturally. Taking medicines at the correct time every day is also important. Inform your doctor if sugar levels continue to rise or if you develop excessive thirst, numbness, blurred vision, dizziness, or unusual tiredness.
