I am planning to use Facicare Skin Cream for dark spots and acne. Is it effective and safe to use?

Facicare Skin Cream contains Hydroquinone, Mometasone, and Tretinoin. It is sometimes prescribed for dark spots, such as melasma, and for short-term treatment of acne-related pigmentation. Hydroquinone helps lighten dark patches, Tretinoin speeds up skin renewal and treats acne (pimples), and Mometasone reduces redness and irritation. While it can be effective, it is not meant for long-term or unsupervised use. The steroid component, Mometasone, can cause side effects such as thinning of the skin, visible blood vessels, and worsening of acne if used for too long. Hydroquinone may also lead to skin irritation or uneven colour if overused. Tretinoin may cause dryness, peeling, and sensitivity to sunlight. This combination should be used only for short courses, often for a few weeks, under a doctor?s guidance. Daily sunscreen use is important while using it. It is not a safe long-term daily skincare product. A dermatologist can advise safer long-term options for dark spots and acne management.
