My daughter has dry cough and fever 101, too. for the past two days. Prescribed 5 milliliters of phexin, ascoril, and kalpol three times a day. The cough is still present today, the third day. The fever is still present. Should I use any additional combinations when giving cloff? Her throat hurts. cough that is dry. as well as fever. Please recommend
A viral throat or respiratory infection is frequently the reason for a child's dry cough, throat pain, and fever that lasts two to three days. Even after beginning medication, the cough may take a few more days to get better. Phexin, Ascoril, and Kalpol are examples of medications that should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not add more cough combinations on your own because certain medications may overlap or have adverse effects. Give them lots of water, warm soups, rest, and steer clear of cold or greasy foods. If the fever persists for more than three to five days, breathing becomes difficult, the child gets extremely weak, refuses fluids, or exhibits wheezing or chest pain, please contact the paediatrician once more.
