My 18-month-old baby has a severe chest infection and stomach flu with diarrhea, and refuses to take prescribed oral syrups (Cefakind, Levofloxacin, Metronidazole, Sinarest, and Asthkind). The doctor advised giving Xone 500 injections twice a day instead, but is it correct to give these injections into the baby's buttock muscle rather than a vein, and should we still try to give the Sinarest and Asthkind syrups?
